OK so im worried about my sons speech we had HV round a few weeks ago and she said she would have 2 come back in about 3 months to check his speech i was just wondering is vocab is normal for his age he can say mummy, daddy, nan-nan, he tries to say Jon, Pete and grandad but misses letters he can also say car, toe, mouth (without the th) two, baby, oh no, uh-oh, yeah, knee, head (without a D) bum, what (without a T) he says bitit for biscuit he can say bike, bye, hi, bear, water, ta, ball, fish but he says pish, pop, hat, button, peas, star without the s, wee wee, potty, wow tractor but he says it cacor, for ham he says mam, bus without s, bu for book, na-nah for night-night, yuv yoo for love you and a few more made up words and a lot of baby babble he understands a lot of what i say, he cant count yet just about all of his words are singular and doesn't say sentences do you think this is normal for a 30 month old? if not do you think i should ask for speech therapy?...sorry for all of the above im just a worried mummy lol x

41 weeks tomorrow & no sign of baby?

Eating more but the right stuff will keep your metabolism burning calories and lower insulin spikes which tend to cause fat storage. Resistance training also speeds up fat burn up to 24 hours after you work out. So you need to work that into your program. I would also suggest some intense cardio. Before you start reading, I apologise for how long this is and I thank those who take the time to read it and possibly give me a little advice as to what I should do. I am 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant with my 2nd pregnancy (1st pregnancy stillborn at 23 weeks gestation). The first time my thyroid levels ever got tested was when I went to my GP for the blood test to confirm I was pregnant, after the results came back it showed my thyroid levels were elevated. During my first pregnancy both my antenatal clinic and my GP thought that my levels were not elevated enough to send me to an endocrinologist but were considering it because they were elevated. A few hours after I miscarried first pregnancy they tested my thyroid levels but they never told me if they were normal. Since finding out about my 2nd pregnancy I have been tested 3 times, I've been to an endocrinologist 2 times and have another appointment on the 9th of May. They have done an ultrasound on my neck and found that I have several small thyroid nodules. Now they want to take fluid from the tissue to make sure it's the thyroid producing to much hormones which is the cause of my thhyroid levels. I was reading there are complications, they said they will be using a local anaesthetic... I know this may sound stupid but will this procedure harm my baby, I don't want to lose another and I'm wondering if I should ask them to wait until the baby comes. The endocrinologist said they will not be putting me on medication at this time.

7w 6d pregnant with twins. Miscarrying one?

Good morning. So, I found out this past Friday that I'm pregnant with identical twins but baby B is probably not going to make it. Baby A has a good heartbeat of 151 and looks good but baby B is measuring smaller than the other and it's yolk sac is larger than what it should be for the gestation age. I have to have another u/s done this Friday to check the progress and see how things are but I have this feeling that I'm miscarrying baby B. For the past 4 days I've been spotting and have severe lower back pain. I know spotting can be normal early in pregnancy but this is more than spotting but not fully bleeding or clotting. I'm praying that if I am miscarrying that it's baby B that was not going to make it anyways and not both babies. I'm worried because they are identical that baby A will be affected as well. Does anybody know or heard of miscarrying one identical twin and the other being ok? I called my dr and they said there's nothing I can do at this point and I'm on "pelvic rest"--no lifting heavy objects and no sex. I just need some reassurance and some positive thoughts my way. Microsoft office 2010 Download help?

Ok so I'm trying to download the microsoft office 2010 stuff so that when school starts I can actually do work on my laptop and for two days now the thing keeps telling me that the download was interrupted or it timed out. I called Microsoft and the lady told me that they should have emailed me an order confirmation thing and that she couldn't help me if i didn't have it which i don't. I've tried using Google chrome and internet explorer in case it's just the internet host but nah, same thing. I've clicked some alternate link things on the page and they still don't work. So far I've downloaded everything else like iTunes and Skype no problem so it must be a Microsoft thing but I don't know what it is. and it's not like I'm doing multiple downloads either or am even on the computer whilst downloading the thing. it's really annoying and I just need help with this stuff. I'm writing a fantasy novel about a group of Questers searching for a God-Being in order to stop an evil group of Questers from reaching the God first. It's told in first person by the leader of the Questers, however the first novel will be mainly about them gathering more Questers and training to go on the Quest. The novel starts slow, with the narrator awaking in bed with a prostitute, leaving, meeting two curious twins at the inn he lives in, and then meeting his friend at the city square, where the action actually begins. I am in the USA. Here they let you go up to 14 days or 2 weeks late (42 weeks gestation). Towards the end they check you more thoroughly and might do more testing to make sure the baby is okay. With my 2nd daughter I was induced when she was 10 days late because she was said to be big and I was 2-3 centimeters dialated from week 38. She was 9 lbs 9 oz and 22 1/2 inches long. They had given me nonstress tests and ultrasounds the couple weeks before that.

My premature baby is finding it difficult to poo?

My little baby is finding it difficult to poo, but I'm not sure of the best method to help him go. His gp and neonatal nurse said to give him orange juice. The gp said give him it once a day, if this doesn't work twice if not three times a day, as you cant overdose on orange juice...however I'm worried about it giving him tummy ache. I have tried rubbing his belly and moving his legs in a bicycle motion as well as giving him a bath, it used to work...but doesn't seem to anymore. His health visitor said give him an ounce of boiled water, this didn't work either, she also said orange can gripe his bowels. She also said don't give him brown sugar because this may make his blood sugar levels go up as he is prem, (he was born at 29+4 gestation). I'm confused as to what is the best thing to do. His poo isn't hard pellets, it just seems to get lodged and when he does go the consistency is sticky. Advice would be much appreciated :) xx

Fetal Heart Rate at 13 weeks? help!?

i had an u/s done yesterday at the drs office. The baby was(13w1d gestation, 13w6d developement) the heart rate was 154, 13 points lower than what it was when i was 8weeks. is this normal?

first off i am so sorry for your loss! I myself lost a twin at 10 weeks. I went for my first ultrasound and the next day the doctor called me to come in to see her asap. I was so worried that something was wrong with my baby. When i went to see her she told me that i was pregnant with twins but only one heart was beating. She told me to wait a week and have another ultrasound done. When i went for my second ultrasound the lady showed me the screen. I saw my son (he was formed already) but then she showed me the other "sac" with nothing inside it except for a small dot which was the heart but it wasnt beating. the doctor then told me it wasnt a viable sac and there was no baby developing. It ended up just disappearing. In your case im pretty sure it was a twin. It just didnt develop. It will most likely just vanish also. They dont remove it...its like a miscarriage. My doctor actually called it "vanishing twin syndrome"

No symptoms here! I woke up for my doctors appt. went to look outside and BAM! my water broke! Then it was off to the hospital for about 12 hours of pitocin and exactly 24 hrs later I had a healthy baby boy :)

We are trying to have a second baby but I'd like it if I can choose the baby's sign - meaning I'll be trying to conceive on certain months of the year so that I may have a child born under a certain sign. Here is my confusion: our first child was conceived some time between Nov 6 and Nov 12. My due date was then Sept 5th, and our daughter was born on August 27th at 38 weeks gestation. How is this possible? I had a perfect and healthy pregnancy - which lasted beyond "9 months" and further more than 38 weeks, even if one were only to count the weeks by conception to birth. Has this happened to anyone else? By the way, I don't need advice from those who wish to convince me that astrology is bunk or anything else, as I am predominantly curious scientifically with the gestational age and due date confusion.. my question is a) whether this has happened to you and b) why.

I really love the Garth Nix novel "Sabriel". It is about a teenage girl who is a necromancer and must use her ability to overcome great obstacles along her life's journey. You should never take a rookie first round under any circumstance. NFL wideouts tend to blossom in their third season with few exceptions. plan b is a very good idea. If you can't talk to your parents maybe you have another adult that you can talk to or someone else that you can borrow money from? If you have insurance you can go to the doctor and ask him to prescribe the "old method" of plan b... it's one of the birth control pills just taken differently it should be covered under your drug coverage... I hope you figure something out, your situation is one of the few situations that i believe plan b to be a good thing (i'm really not a big fan of it) so i hope that you figure it all out. best of luck

At 4 weeks you are lucky to see a gestational sac. The fetal pole and yolk sac usually aren't seen until 5-6 weeks. They will have to recheck you to confirm, just like the report says.

L&D nurse told me my due date didn't match my baby's size is my due date wrong?

went to L&D on monday for severe stomach pain, which were contractions and I didn't know, because I also had a bad stomach virus. Anyways they did EVERY test.. my blood pressure ekg's and two ultrasounds a abdomen and ob ultrasound. My blood pressure remained high and I have gestation diabetes, but I've been controlling it by diet since 28 weeks. The L&D nurse reviewed the sonogram and came in to tell me that my initial due date is wrong the baby should be due sooner, but this late in pregnant they can't change the due date. Is it because the size of my baby? or because she's more developed than they thought? how can they tell when my due date is and should they have told me how far along I really was, If I'm like 37 weeks I'd like to know so I don't all of a sudden go into labor and think it's premature. Has this happened to anyone else? Also since about 20 weeks I cry REALLY BAD on and off... I cried so hard talkin to my mom about my husband until i didnt even kno y i was crying.

I'm taking care of a stray female cat for 4 months now. It's totally okay for me for her to have litters and I've already taken care of their bed space and adoption, now, a tom is currently mating her, actually, the tom has mated with her twice, and there are no other toms in the village, and all the male cats are still kittens so there is only one possible tom-mate. My question is for how long will that tom keep on mating with my cat till my cat gets pregnant? Or was she already impregnated the first time the tom mated with her. I've heard of queens being sired by several toms, so that means several mates, but what if there is only one tom? How many times will they mate? HCG levels, possible miscarriage?

By going by my LMp, whcih was May 23, I would be at 4 weeks and 4 days today. Last night, I went into the ER and my HCG levels were 760, I am not sure if that is high or low, so what do you think about that level for gestation? Anyways, I went in for a possible miscarriage, and they wanted to retest again in 4 days, and I simply cannot wait that long. Thinking about the possibility of miscarriage is driving me insane and I just want to see that number go up, because if it does, it means that I am still pregnant. So I am gonig back to ER tonight (labs are closed for the weekend right now) and I am going to request blood work. Since it is 24 hours between, I know that the number will not ahve doubled, but since it is early in pregnancy, there still should be a rise in numbers if the pregnancy is still here, correct? So if I go in tonight and the number comes back higher than 760, can I be assured that the bleeding was not from a miscarriage? And is 760 a high HCg level for 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant? Baby Brother and walking?

I've had my Apple Snail in my tank for around 3wks and this afternoon i noticed there is a clutch of eggs on the underside of the lid! I am 14, male. I believe i am a sociopath/psychopath, or a sadist. I have very strong belief that I am one of these but i just wanted some opinions. I've already read up on the symptoms of these and was intrigued by how many applied to me, most-if not all.�I am very secretive and some times paranoid. I came close to stabbing my teacher who technically bullied me inclass all year, but was stopped by a friend who knew what I was going to do. I have a cold anger that I don't show, I keep it supersede along with most of my other emotions. I can take these out and wear them when need be. My dad passed away two years ago and my mom always questioned me on why I didn't seem sad, or wasn't as effected by his death. Which career path should I choose?

I am having some trouble in my life right now. I can not decide on a career path. I am majoring in business at the local community college. It is about the only thing they have that I am interested in. I am not sure what to do. I have changed my mind many many times and I am sure that I will do it again. I am going through a depression right now, nothing seems to interest me anymore and nothing seems to be good enough for me. I have never really been great at anything and I am only going into business because I know that it is a good degree to have.
