If a premie is born at 30-32 weeks gestation what are they like?

At 30 weeks, your babies are more developed than a single baby would be (slightly) as the average term for twins is i believe 3 or 4 weeks shorter than for single babies. If a baby is born at 30 weeks, it will be fully developed in almost all aspects, it's lungs will need to develop more, although if you are at risk for preemies, the doctor will be giving you steroids to make their lungs develop more rapidly. Also, this is the time when babies put on all their weight, so they will be tiny if they are born now because they will hardly have any body fat. I've never heard of babies born at this point who went on to have any health problems, so I wouldn't worry. They will be kept in the hospital until they are full term or close to it.
