Microsoft office 2010 Download help?

Ok so I'm trying to download the microsoft office 2010 stuff so that when school starts I can actually do work on my laptop and for two days now the thing keeps telling me that the download was interrupted or it timed out. I called Microsoft and the lady told me that they should have emailed me an order confirmation thing and that she couldn't help me if i didn't have it which i don't. I've tried using Google chrome and internet explorer in case it's just the internet host but nah, same thing. I've clicked some alternate link things on the page and they still don't work. So far I've downloaded everything else like iTunes and Skype no problem so it must be a Microsoft thing but I don't know what it is. and it's not like I'm doing multiple downloads either or am even on the computer whilst downloading the thing. it's really annoying and I just need help with this stuff. I paid $100 for this at Best Buy and I don't want that money to have been a waste.
